Behavioral Assistance (BA)
Process of intervention and ongoing evaluation resulting in effective modification of a youth’s identified behavior(s). The services involve applying positive behavioral principles within the community, using culturally based norms to foster behaviors that are rehabilitative and restorative. BA’s work in conjunction with a licensed clinician providing coinciding treatment. BA’s assist in executing treatment goals established by the licensed clinician and family to address and assist the family in the management of a range of behavioral, social, or emotional needs.
BioPsychoSocial Assessment (BPS)
Assessment authorized by PerformCare or our providers in order to make an accurate evaluation of your child’s needs and the most appropriate resources or services. A licensed clinician will meet in person with you and your child to determine treatment needs and treatment planning for a range of mental health services provided to at-risk youth and their families.
Intensive In-Community service (IIC)
Home and/or community-based therapeutic services, intended for a restoration of a youth’s functional level after a decline related to behavioral health episode or a significant life stressor or trauma. These services are provided by licensed clinician, and may include individual and/or family therapy interventions
Mentor
Mentor services are provided to collaborate with youth and their families with the goal of providing support as a positive role model to at-risk youth ages 4-21 years old.
